There’s some serious debate among us regarding Amrita Rao’s look. Some of us think she certainly has her moments and while this shot of her profile may not be the best picture of her, we have to give it up for Amrita being comfortable in her own skin. When asked about Bollywood’s new found obsession for stick-thin figures, here’s what the naturally-thin star had to say:

“Almost everyone seems to be getting paranoid about their weight. It’s quite unfortunate since a lot of young kids try to ape such celebrities without realising the consequences. The aim should be to stay fit and healthy, and not attain a size zero.”

Granted, Amrita may look like she needs to put on a few pounds herself, but hey! at least she isn’t starving herself like a certain someone we know!

We can probably count on one hand how many times Preity Zinta and Ness Wadia are seen being affectionate for the cameras.

To us, Hrithik Roshan is everything a Bollywood actor needs to be. He’s got the class, the charm, the moves and has even proved to have the look, but judging by this picture, he’s a far cry from the hunk he’s described as.

We refuse to accept that there’s a good chance Hrithik is not ’’ all that’’ Bollywood makes him out to be. Besides, our man is allowed one bad picture especially since he looks so yumm every other time!

The fun times in Cannes kicked off Wednesday and Aishwarya Rai was one of the many beautiful women to strut her stuff on the red carpet.

The Cannes Film Festival holds a special place in Ash’s heart. Ever since Devdas was screened there in 2002, Ash has been almost a regular at Cannes. In fact, it was at last year’s festival that the actress made her first major public appearance as junior Mrs Bachchan.

“Last time, I got married just a month before so it was very special to be back here,” says Ash. “It was literally like a reception welcome.”

About a year into married life, the former Miss World says she recommends it.

“I think what’s fantastic is when you have this incredible friendship with your man,” she said. “I think that’s what really holds real, and that’s the best part of us together. I mean of course there’s the love and all of that, but I won’t get into those cliches with all of you.“

Much to the media’s disappoint, pictures of the actress at last year’s event sporting what appeared to be the early stages of a ‘baby bump’ were actually showing nothing more than a little ‘bloated belly’. When asked this time about her plans of to start a family, here’s what Ash had to say:

“I’m a normal girl just like anybody else … it will happen when it has to happen,” she said. “It isn’t something that you write in a diary, but when it has to be it will definitely be, and yeah, looking forward to it as and when, but no speculations right now, please.”
