Attired in a black and beige “sherwani,” with intricate ethnic motifs at the hemline and sequin work at the collars, Ranbir Kapoor walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week show.

In Ranbir’s defence, he had no idea his face would be painted like the sun: “Before I came here I didn’t know that my face would be painted golden. Only when I reached the venue and sat on a chair (backstage) to get the make-up done, I got to know about it. But I enjoyed the whole experience,” he said.

Although he refused to comment on Deepika, his actions did the talking for him. When the Saawariya actor spotted his ladylove next to his mother Neetu Singh, he blew a kiss in the direction where the two most important ladies of his life were seated. The model-turned-actress responded by blushing and hiding her face behind her hair.

Ignoring the fact that the kiss could very well have been for his MOTHER, can we get a collective, “AW!” for the happy couple?!
