Cat Fight: Amitabh Bachchan Vs. Aamir Khan

After Amitabh Bachchan’s much-publicised feud with Shahrukh Khan, reports of a new rift with Aamir Khan makes us wonder if Big B’s head’s too big to get along with anyone. Granted, Aamir slammed "Black" (which Bachchan starred in) years after its release possibly to rake up controversy to focus media attention on his own upcoming film, but Bachchan stooped to new lows responding with personal attacks. After all, how dare Aamir have an opinion?!
Aamir, in an interview to tabloid Mumbai Mirror, said of Black, "I didn’t like the film. I found it very insensitive, it sends out very wrong signals. It was extremely manipulative. I could see the effort in the manipulation, and the art of the director is in not letting you see the manipulation.’"
"The sensibility wasn’t right for me, I couldn’t make out if they were living in a house or a museum or a library or a church. The performances were over the top," he added.
"Most importantly, it was about a child who had these problems, an alcoholic person comes and says you have to leave her alone with me for forty days, and he slaps her around. I don’t know of any parent who’d agree to that," said Aamir who’s ironically all set to release his own children’s film Taare Zameen Par. "Black reminded me of The Taming Of The Shrew, and I found that very disturbing. It was a film about ‘I can teach a bear how to dance.’"

Every one has a right to his or her opinion – even Aamir Khan. Aamir made a statement maybe not at the right time or maybe too late but nothing wrong with it. A person of Amitabh’s stature should not take Aamir’ comment personal – and revert back like a school boy – lashing out at him right and left – Is Amitabh getting a bit insecure or self doubting at this age ???

Mr. Amitabh Bachchan is perfectly justified in what he’s said! Cinematic performances are always exaggerated to a certain extent to express things! Cinema is always larger than life! Why else are actors trained in the art of Mime? Is that realistic? Everytime some nobody whether it’s Aamir or Shahrukh Khan would like to get some publicity for their forthcoming film they use Mr. Bachchan’s name to attract attention to their own less than impressive work. They are intellectually crippled to stand out for their own work and hence latch on to the crutch of a famous personality! Their only means to get people into theatres is to create controversy and try to pull down a magnificient actor like Mr. Bachchan to their level!
It would be better if these nobodies showed some respect for senior actors like Mr. Manoj Kumar and Mr. Bachchan who’eve carried Indian cinema to the level at which it is today! What good is an apology when the damage is already done! First they create a strawman, knock it down and then apologise and try to make it look like they are the magnanimous ones! Shame on them!
Mr. Bachchan is a Gentleman who never insulted his seniors and is graceful to his juniors!

Mr. bachchan is a senior figure in the acting industry. He should, more than anyone know how to deal with criticism. Lashing out like a child only puts him at a lower level. Acting wise would have been to silently let it go. If a film is good, it will do well regardless of anyone’s comments.

Aamir was asked by someone, he did not intentionally bring up the issue of Black. What Black portrays about the approach to treat ill person is wrong, and Aamir Khan is right about that. Bachhan acts in a movie and does his best on what script and director wants to portray. It is an irony that Bachhan never studies whether movies message is right. Unlike Bachhan, Aamir only acts on movies that give right message in right way. He also gives the best performance. There is no actor like Aamir in today’s bollywood. It might take time, but Aamir will surpass any star born ever and will be the brightest star. All Bachhan is trying to do is to be evasive and charge Aamir for being trying to promote his movie. Poor Bachhan, grow up, accept that Aamir is new generation and its okay for him to surpass you. Its all good for bollywood.

what santosh said is totally wrong he cannot evaluate who is a good actor. Mr Bachhan has done a masterpiece throughout his career. Aamir and Shahrukh has not done a 1% of his quality work. In my opinion aamir and shahrukh are kids in front of Mr Bachhan and they should learn from him. Aamir khan acting is good but dialogue delivery is not up to the mark compared with Mr Bachhan and forget about sharukh he is not even better than aamir khan. At they age of 65 Mr Bachhan has given a few hits when these kids will reach this age the new generation would not be knowing their names. Mr Aamir please don’t take help of Mr Bachhan stardom for making your movie superhit.Aamir has made his habit to comment on those matters in which he has no knowledge last time when fanaa was releasing he commented on Narendra modi.

Aamir Khan is THE best actor ever born in the film industry. He acts in a movie only after understanding a script and not just goes along with a director a brand or wht so ever it may be. He works with purity in his vision. All of his movies are not only sensitive, entertaining but always give you a lesson in your life.

Aamir Khan is not truly just a great and talented actor but also the most handsomest Bollywood actor to ever make it to the big screen. Honestly, if you truly take a second at all the Bollywood actors, there is always something unique that Aamir has in his look that the other actors don’t have. He’s handsome of course. Sharuhk khan, psssss, like can never beat fellow actor Aamir Khan’s movie star features.

there is no comparison btw amir and srk coz if we talk about acting then shahrukh is not even near amir because amir khan puts himself in the character no matter what chafracter he plays now let me give you one example in main hoo na srk played a sipahi with long hair role now that is not a versality because fauji people dont keep long hair – and in the climax how can anyone chase a van with fucking rikshaw i think he was trying to become keanu reeves from matrix, he just knows one thing how to dance a sing around trees with girls in movies because thats what he has been doing for years, he needs some change now – he should do some different roles and on the other hand amir khan according to character chnages his hairstyles in almost evey movie. HE IS THE BEST “AMIR KHAN”..amir khan does not attend award functions therefore award automatically goes to srk’s way and even akshay said in his interview that he was asked by filmfair to perform in the filmfair
show and they will give him award…and naseerudin shah said that bollywood awardss are joke only amir is the person who has been to OSCARS…….AND HE WILL AGAIN…

i think aamir khan is the best in bollywood today, i do not know where to start and how to start because he is a versatile actor, see his performance in his movies, i dot not hate shahrukh but only thing which makes me uncomfortable every time when i see his movies that he just does love stories he needs some change now, he loves to sing a song with his heroin around the trees well come on yaar, he was good in darr and pardes and devdas because he did some different roles in those movies, right now he is 44 and he is getting old if he does not do different roles now it would not be possible for him to do the same love stories 4 years from now and then he would not be able to do chalanging roles and i realy like one thing about aamir that he changes himself according to the character, see his hairstayle which is diferent in every movie since sarfrosh and on other hand shahruch in main hoon na he played a major or sipahi role and he did not even cut his hair for that and on top of that he was trying to become keanu reaves from matrix in the climax of that movie well cut the crap yaar how can anyone chase a van with the bloody rikshaw, it should not be like this, being an actor you should be ready for everything for evey change, aamir and shahruch they both have the same sirnamem, same khan sirname wont make you good actor MR. KING KHAN {HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA}

Aamir is a fantastic actor, but yo cannot compare Amitji’s body of work to any actor of 2day. Aamir is right amitji is miles ahead and all actors look up to him. Jiah is just comparing the film she acted with Amitji to ghajni, which is a superior film. Very childish as? aamir called her. Maybe shah rukh wld agree with her.

Aamir is the best in bollywood. Aamir has achieved success in every field, be it acting, direction, production. Amitabh is not a competitor, but a stupid actor who works just earn big money. Just go through Amitabh’s filmography, between 2000-2009, he has done near about 60 films, out of which just 3-4 films are hit, rest are super duper flop(search it in IMDB for proof).
In a nutshell, Aamir’s fanclub is full of CLASS audience, SRK and Amitabh has 3rd class Audience
