The Khan with the original six- pack has spoken, and he makes it clear that he does not see what the big deal is with the current craze. For Salman it’s a case of “been there, done that”.
Salman on any and every actor gaining a six pack: “Even a malnourished person or a mazdoor can have a six-pack. What is important is to have a good muscular body and then move on to get a six-pack! And a stronger mind is more important than a strong body. Training the mind is a lifelong pursuit and without a strong mind, you’ll lack the willpower to get a strong body.”
Salman on always finding time in his busy schedule to hit the gym: “I work 18 hours a day and can still find the time to hit the gym. It’s time management,”
Salman on when fans ooh-and-aah over his bare torso: “I feel like a tiger in a cage at the zoo. Every child who passes that cage tells his mother, ‘I want to look at the tiger, Mom’. But I also know that the day this fascination is over, it’s all really over then. So, I’m thankful that I’m in this zoocage-tiger situation,”
Salman on why he exercises: “I have to keep looking good. And I have to look as good as my fans want me to.”

Little Sahara Shaha must have pulled at Salman Khan’s heart strings because just days later the actor joined forces with his friends for a charity football match.
Several actors including Sohail Khan, Govinda and Ranbir Kapoor donned dark blue football jerseys to showcase their football skills against Pune XI in a tournament co-organised by the ‘Salman Khan Foundation’ to raise funds for cancer patients.

“I am not concerned with who and how many goals are scored. My focus is on the ultimate purpose of the game for a social cause and by the grace of God, it will benefit the needy,” said Govinda.
Suniel Shetty, who experienced the pain of losing family members to cancer, was also present at the event but did not play because of a bad knee. “This is for charity and a great cause, so, it’s a great reason to be here,” said the action hero.
The Bollywood team won the match with the scoreline reading 9-5.

Sure, he may be accused of being a woman beater, but Salman Khan has earned major brownie points in our book for his charitable ways.
On the sets of a music reality show, ‘Chhote Ustad’ last week, the star met Sahara Shaha, a 4-year-old girl diagnosed with leukaemia.
The actor made much of her (and four other cancer patients) throughout the evening and before he left, without any pomp or show, donated over $12,500 towards the young child’s treatment.
Sahara’s story is heartbreaking if not infuriating. She was afflicted with leukaemia when she was just 6 months old, says her mother. On learning about his daughter’s illness her father, who was in Kuwait, “simply disappeared” leaving her mother on her own without any financial support. The family lives in a slum colony in Kanjurmarg in northeast Mumbai, barely making ends meet.
“I have lost all contact with him. He has even changed his number. From that day, I have no financial support,” says the beleaguered mother. But thanks to Salman’s help Sahara can get proper treatment, she said with tears in her eyes.
Now, if only the rest of tight-fisted Bollywood did their bit for charity!

It looks like Katrina Kaif is cracking under the pressure of having all eyes on her relationship with Salman Khan. The 23-year-old actress was judging a contest in Delhi when she was stunned by an inappropriate question about her boyfriend’s rumoured hook-up with Bruna Abdalah.
The question jolted Katrina, leaving her momentarily at a loss for words. But the actress recovered quickly and responded in a tone of disgust:
“You know you guys need to understand one thing and I am going to say this now. You guys need to learn that when someone is standing before you, you have to treat that person with respect. Ridiculous. It is a ridiculous question… and you guys need to draw the line.”

A Mumbai tabloid ran a story the other day claiming Salman Khan had slapped Katrina Kaif in public. Infuriated with the reports, Katarina insists those rumours are just that, rumours.
She shrieks, “I don’t know from where they got this information, but it’s completely untrue. It’s just rubbish and someone’s figment of imagination. Why will Salman slap me?”
Er, we don’t know, may be because he has a HISTORY of being a woman-beater?!!
