 Rumors are abounding that the saucy couple are heading for splitsville and that their relationship is swimming through some very turbulent waters !

Just when we were done mourning over the painful and permanent way that Saifu (yup, that’s what Bebo calls him lovingly!) declared his interminable love for the then 3-month-old relationship, we hear the buzz that the tattoo is a fake!!

According to the grapevine, the Devanagri scripted ink requires “touch-ups” to enliven it and has to be dyed, as frequently as in less than a week!

So if Mr.Khan’s shooting schedule keeps him frantically busy to not be able to visit the tattoo specialist, then one wonders how soon his sign of eternal love for Bebo will fade away!

Talk about public humiliation – wonder what Kareena has to say??

Well, she did not say much besides bursting into tears when Saif lost it, telling her to shut up at the “Dil Chahta Hai” director, Farhan Akhtar’s party.

No wonder Bebo wants her man to back off !

Apparently, Saif is getting overly-possessive and Kareena enjoys her space and wants to assert her independence. The constant attention and non-stop quizzing is beginning to get on her nerves, which she used to relish initially.

The irony is Saif is said to have gifted Kareena with solitaire diamonds and even a BMW. But is that just damage-control for his recent actions or more display of his love (like the phony tattoo?).

Well, since the sets of “Tashan” took their love to new heights (atleast some good came out of that movie!!!), we think the sets of the yet-to-be-titled Karan Johar movie will help the troubled duo resolve their love issues.

For those of you who care, filming begins later this year in London.

Let’s hope they sustain their fragile bond till then, huh!

The fun times in Cannes kicked off Wednesday and Aishwarya Rai was one of the many beautiful women to strut her stuff on the red carpet.

The Cannes Film Festival holds a special place in Ash’s heart. Ever since Devdas was screened there in 2002, Ash has been almost a regular at Cannes. In fact, it was at last year’s festival that the actress made her first major public appearance as junior Mrs Bachchan.

“Last time, I got married just a month before so it was very special to be back here,” says Ash. “It was literally like a reception welcome.”

About a year into married life, the former Miss World says she recommends it.

“I think what’s fantastic is when you have this incredible friendship with your man,” she said. “I think that’s what really holds real, and that’s the best part of us together. I mean of course there’s the love and all of that, but I won’t get into those cliches with all of you.“

Much to the media’s disappoint, pictures of the actress at last year’s event sporting what appeared to be the early stages of a ‘baby bump’ were actually showing nothing more than a little ‘bloated belly’. When asked this time about her plans of to start a family, here’s what Ash had to say:

“I’m a normal girl just like anybody else … it will happen when it has to happen,” she said. “It isn’t something that you write in a diary, but when it has to be it will definitely be, and yeah, looking forward to it as and when, but no speculations right now, please.”
