Aishwarya &
Abhishek had their little lovey dovey time interrupted by the media on their first wedding anniversary. As Ballz reported earlier, the first look of ‘Sarkar Raj‘ starring
Amitabh, Abhishek and Ash was released on the same day and since the
couple who is in Miami are the stars of the movie, they had to be present somehow. The sickeningly sweet duo chose to talk via a satellite video hook-up with the help of a little thing called technology.
They were introduced by Amitabh (see video below) who asked them if they had “just got up after having spent a late night” to which Abhishek replied “Er…no we were very good”. Hmm…
Aishwarya came across as the most perfect parrot the Bachchan’s could have ever hoped for, reciting and praising them with her oh-so rehearsed and repeated words.
Not to be outdone by Amitabh, Jaya Bachchan was seen sobbing most of the time. As for Ash’s mom, poor Vrinda put her foot in her mouth when she addressed the former Miss World by her home name.
“Hi Gullu how are you?” Vrinda asked with a big smile on her face as she saw her daughter on the video screen, leaving “Gullu” stunned that her unflattering nickname had been revealed to the world.

Aishwarya Rai may be keeping mum on pregnancy rumours, but her father-in-law can’t quite contain his excitement. After months of speculation, an ecstatic Amitabh Bachchan confirms that Aishwarya is in fact two months pregnant (yay!!).
“We wanted to wait for the right time to announce the good news. But yes, Pari (Aishwarya) is with child and the family could not be more excited,” says Amitabh in an interview to air tomorrow.
The mum-to-be is said to have pulled out of a movie with Tamil actor Vikram, because the filming schedule “would have clashed with her pregnancy.”

Teji Bachchan, actress and mother of Amitabh Bachchan passed away on Friday after suffering from numerous health problems for nearly a year.
The 93-year-old was best known for being the second wife of renowned Hindi poet Harivansh Rai Bachchan. In fact, the death of his first wife Shyama sent him into a profound depression and brought on the voices in his head which only Teji could shut off after hooking him in 1941.
Together the two would sing their little hearts out and often won wide acclaim during their younger days as a singing duo.

After losing his father in 2002 at the age of 96, Amitabh bid farewell to his mother at the Juhu Cremation Ground Saturday, December 22.
Most of the Bachchan family and friends visited them to pay their respects. Two unlikely frenemies to show up were Vivek Oberi (pictured below) and Aamir Khan.

After recently slamming Amitabh’s acting skills, the actor was too chicken to face the Bachchan household alone and ended up dragging his wife along to pay his condolences. Vivek, on the other hand, was ballsy enough to attend the funeral, perhaps exchanging a few glances with his ex, Aishwarya Rai.

After Amitabh Bachchan’s much-publicised feud with Shahrukh Khan, reports of a new rift with Aamir Khan makes us wonder if Big B’s head’s too big to get along with anyone. Granted, Aamir slammed "Black" (which Bachchan starred in) years after its release possibly to rake up controversy to focus media attention on his own upcoming film, but Bachchan stooped to new lows responding with personal attacks. After all, how dare Aamir have an opinion?!
Aamir, in an interview to tabloid Mumbai Mirror, said of Black, "I didn’t like the film. I found it very insensitive, it sends out very wrong signals. It was extremely manipulative. I could see the effort in the manipulation, and the art of the director is in not letting you see the manipulation.’"
"The sensibility wasn’t right for me, I couldn’t make out if they were living in a house or a museum or a library or a church. The performances were over the top," he added.
"Most importantly, it was about a child who had these problems, an alcoholic person comes and says you have to leave her alone with me for forty days, and he slaps her around. I don’t know of any parent who’d agree to that," said Aamir who’s ironically all set to release his own children’s film Taare Zameen Par. "Black reminded me of The Taming Of The Shrew, and I found that very disturbing. It was a film about ‘I can teach a bear how to dance.’"
