Aamir Khan και ο πατέρας του Tahir Hussain έχει γεφυρώσει τελικά τις διαφορές τους μετά από μια δυσάρεστη νομική μάχη που απομόνωσε Aamir από τον αδελφό του. Ευτυχής να έχει τον πατέρα του πίσω στη ζωή του, Bollywood το σούπερ σταρ τακτοποίησε μια πρόσθετη διαλογή της ισοτιμίας Taare Zameen για τον πατέρα του.

Ζήτησε να σχολιάσει την ταινία, Tahir λέει: «Είναι μια πολύ ευαίσθητη ταινία και σας κάνει να φωνάξετε και σας κάνει το γέλιο. Ο πρωταγωνιστής παιδιών είναι πολύ καλός και το θέμα έχει αντιμετωπιστεί πολύ λογικά.» 

«Aamir, όπως συνηθισμένο, ήταν πολύ καλό στην ταινία αλλά ακόμη και οι άλλοι δράστες έχουν παίξει το ρόλο τους πολύ καλά. Είπα Aamir ότι είμαι πολύ υπερήφανος του. Τώρα Aamir πρέπει να κατευθύνει μια άλλη μεγάλη ταινία. Είμαι πάντα με τον. Θέλουμε μόνο την οικογένειά μας για να είμαστε μαζί πάντα.»

Aamir, in an interview to tabloid Mumbai Mirror, said of Black, "I didn’t like the film. I found it very insensitive, it sends out very wrong signals. It was extremely manipulative. I could see the effort in the manipulation, and the art of the director is in not letting you see the manipulation.’"

"The sensibility wasn’t right for me, I couldn’t make out if they were living in a house or a museum or a library or a church. The performances were over the top," he added.

"Most importantly, it was about a child who had these problems, an alcoholic person comes and says you have to leave her alone with me for forty days, and he slaps her around. I don’t know of any parent who’d agree to that," said Aamir who’s ironically all set to release his own children’s film Taare Zameen Par. "Black reminded me of The Taming Of The Shrew, and I found that very disturbing. It was a film about ‘I can teach a bear how to dance.’"

After a series of dreadful allegations, Aamir Khan’s family including his former wife Reena Datta, have hit back at claims that the actor held his brother prisoner. Faisal, 41, who suffers from periodic lapses into schizo-affective psychosis, was brought before the court following a missing-person complaint filed by his family.

The Khan’s insisted he was mentally unsound and needed to be admitted to hospital for further treatment, but Faisal says otherwise. He claims he was held captive at Aamir’s Bandra home where he was forced to pop pills. “I could not work because I was kept under house arrest by Aamir Khan. I was scared of his name, fame and power.” he says. His father, Tahir Hussain supports his version. He went on to add that if he must live with a family member, he preferred to live with his father alone. “I don’t want to live with him, but with my father because he is a nice man.”

Despite Aamir claiming his father is financially insecure, a court order granted him temporary custody which has left Aamir devastated. His supportive family, mother Zeenat T. Hussain, ex-wife Reena Datta, sisters Nikhat Khan Hegde and Farhat Khan, cousin Mansoor and current wife Kiran Rao along with other family members have issued the following statement:

“As a family, we have always believed in maintaining our silence and dignity, choosing not to react to the many absurd allegations that are frequently hurled at our loved one, Aamir. But this time we feel the need to express our utter shock, disgust and contempt at the public statements of Tahir Hussain and Faisal Khan. It is deeply distressing and saddening to see the depths to which Aamir’s father and brother have sunk, with the express intention of causing Aamir hurt. Their offensive allegations, malicious lies and pathetic behavior are truly shameful. Their behavior is all the more appalling given that Aamir has supported both his father and brother in every way possible for the last 15 years, and has on numerous occasions bailed them out of their various crises. Unfortunately Aamir’s goodness has only earned him their envy and hatred.”
