New pictures of Kareena Kapoor looking thinner have sparked fears for her health - with some industry insiders and fans branding her appearance as “anorexic”.
But the actress clearly states “I am far from anorexic. I have lost weight for my role in Tashan. I’ve been training to do some action scenes and hence the sudden weight loss.” She adds; “I have worked very hard in these last seven months to lose weight, so please don’t take away from it by calling me anorexic.”
Kareena insists that she loves food and is especially fond of sandwiches and Chinese noodles. Her dramatic weight loss was nothing more than the result of smart choices and healthy living. “I’m following a healthy diet and a regular workout regime and feeling great.” The actress claims that the secret to her losing weight is staying completely off junk food. “I’ve stopped eating junk food till Tashan gets over in November.”
However Kareena maintains that once the film is done she will gorge on junk food and get back to her “healthy” look, Kareena says “I promise that after the film is over, I will start eating everything. After Tashan, you will get to see a curvy Kareena once again.”
In all honesty, Kareena looks gorgeous to us. Could it be that Bollywood is so used to their over chunky actresses that when a curvy one comes on the screen scene she’s labelled as “too skinny”?

Aishwarya Rai doesn’t come across as someone who’d fly into a jealous rage. No, she always seems so calm and collected. There’s one person, however, who’s guaranteed to bring out the worst in her - Rani Mukherjee!
The rivalry dates back to 2002 when good friend Rani snatched a role that was intended for Aishwarya Rai. Not one to easily forgive, Ash held a grudge against her and ever since the two have maintained a distance.
However, much to her dismay, the Bachchan family have always been captivated by Rani’s charm and her on-screen chemistry with Abhishek is undeniable. A rumored hook-up between the two didn’t go down well with Ash who made sure Rani wasn’t on the guest list for her wedding.
But apparently while shooting for Laga Chunari Mein Daag, Rani and Abhishek renewed their friendship while Ash watched on in jealousy. Every now and then she couldn’t resist passing some truly nasty remarks about Rani’s excessive make-up in some parts of the film.
Now, Rani who is said to be fed up of the imaturity, is contemplating breaking her silence. A source close to the Bollywood babe reveals the only reason “She is maintaining a dignified silence is only because of Amitabhji and Abhishek. She is very fond of them and doesn’t want to hurt them.”

An ex-boyfriend of Aishwarya Rai and current boy toy to model and eye candy Katrina Kaif, Salman Khan is known for his sharp eye and appreciation for beauty. After appearing alongside each other in David Dhawan’s “Partner”, Salman Khan & Lara Dutta’s on- and off-screen chemistry was undeniable.
Fortunately for Katarina the spark fizzled quickly and she had him all to herself. But now with Salman doing two more films one of which is titled Mr and Mrs Khanna, Katarina is feeling a bit threatened.
We don’t blame her! We wouldn’t want our men around someone as gorgeous as Lara especially since we know how the last movie starting with Mr & Mrs turned out!

We found ourselves worried when we first saw pictures of a skinny, sickly looking Shahrukh Khan. But his thinness from the neck up and his scrawny arms might have proved to be a misleader. In a promo shot for “Om Shanti Om,” Shahrukh reveals a little surprise under his shirt - a lean ripped body with a sickenly flat set of six pack abs. Now if you’ll give me a minute (or ten), I’ll be busy drooling over this picture!
