Preity Zinta has acquired some ‘art’titude. She has taken to wielding a paintbrush and matched strokes with Mumbai-based artist Gurcharan Singh for the cause of street children for the NGO Khushi.
“Painting is reminiscent of my school days in the hills of Simla, but this experience with Gurcharan Singh who incidentally hails from the hills like me transported me to another realm of creativity,” says the dimple-faced actress. “I am sure this piece of art will win many little hearts and make a difference to the lives of street children. ”
Unfortunately we did not see any artistic tendencies in Preity; However we did notice that she paints to match.

We don’t know about you, but the very thought of being alone in a wax musuem gives us the creeps. It could be the strikingly lifelike statues with the eyes that seem to follow us around the room, or the thought of that creepy wax model from the video “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now.” But despite that, we find ourselves becoming more and more fascinated with these new wax creations and the impressive scenarios Madame Tussaud’s displays them in.
Case in point Aishwarya Rai’s statue: “Madame Tussaud’s at the bustling Times Square unveiled Ash’s wax model on Aug 15th, amid Bollywood dancers performing to popular Hindi songs. It was the museum’s Independence Day gift to lovers of India and it’s popular cinema.”
Apart from Mahatma Gandhi’s wax statue, Ash is the only other Indian figure to be displayed at the musuem. The statue will stay in New York for six weeks, after which she will be transported back to London.

What’s a night like with former Miss Universe turned actress Lara Dutta? Not very appealing to say the least! On weekends, Lara, unlike the rest of Bollywood prefers to watch movies at multiplexes rather than a booming late-night on the dancefloor.
“I was never a party person, I would prefer to watch a movie on a weekend rather than shake a leg at a party,” she says. “I love watching films in multiplexes. I go there, meet people and enjoy the whole experience of sitting there, eating popcorn, like any other cinemagoer.”

Word on the street is that Bipashu Basu and John Abraham may be a thing of the past. Dark clouds hovered over the relationship when actor Saif Ali Khan had gotten wayyyy to close for comfort to John’s leading lady, Bipasha. Saif reportedly changed his gym and shifted to Bipasha’s gym to spend more quality time with her. Bipasha was reportedly loving every minute of the attention and did her darn best to lead him on.
She was then rumored to have had a roll in the hay with none other than Cristiano Ronaldo. Pictures of the two swapping spit proved to be the final straw for John and the couple split after nearly five years together.
